John founded, owns and operates Point Capital Development, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that structures, finances, develops and manages private equity real estate investments in Jersey City. Prior to moving to Jersey City, John worked as the plant manager of a $25MM/year, 400-employee contract packaging facility in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Since founding Point Capital Development, John has personally coordinated the acquisition, financing and development of 18 buildings and oversees the daily operation of 17 separate operating companies in addition to Point Capital Development’s main development focus. The Company currently manages real estate development projects and stabilized residential housing communities with a value in excess of $100MM,

including over 400 residential units that span the spectrum from luxury, market rate to affordable housing. John has extensive experience in land use, zoning, planning, real estate finance, construction and management and has been recognized in several publications for his work in Jersey City.


John recently expanded his business operations to Verona where he has undertaken the renovation and adaptive reuse of a vacant warehouse on Bloomfield Avenue and converted it into local self-storage. This project has repurposed the property from a blighted eyesore, into an economic driver that eliminated a vacancy in the center of town and provides a needed service for local residents with a significant, net reduction of overall impact on town services and parking.
